relevant Australian / New Zealand Standard.
INDUSTRIAL VENTS

SOLASAFE POLYCARBONATE
"The Polycarbonate Sheeting shall be Solasafe
*(Corrugated, 5 -Rib, Greca) 0.8mm in thickness as supplied by Ampelite
Australia Pty. Ltd. The sheeting shall conform with the nominated profile and
colour. Installation shall be in accordance with Ampelite fixing instructions
and with AS/NZS 1562.3 : 1996 Design and installation of sheet roof and wall
cladding, Part 3 : Plastic."

INDUSTRIAL GRADE SHEETING
"The
Translucent Sheeting shall be Ampelite Fibreglass Reinforced Polyester
Sheeting type SC as manufactured by Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd. to comply with
AS4256.3 2006.
Licence No. 986. The weight of the sheet shall be *2400 g/m² and be
manufactured to conform to the nominated profile and colour.
Sheeting shall be installed in accordance with Ampelite fixing
instructions and with AS/NZS 1562.3 : 1996 Design and installation of sheet roof
and wall cladding, Part 3 : Plastic."

DUAL ROOFING ANTI
CONDENSATION
-
The Translucent Sheeting
shall be Ampelite "Wonderglas GC" Gel Coated Fibreglass Reinforced
Polyester (exterior sheet) and Ampelite "SR76" Fire Retardant Reinforced
Polyester (base sheet) as manufactured by Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd. to
comply with AS4256.3 2006. The weight of the sheet shall be 2400 g/m²
and be manufactured to conform to the nominated profile and colour.
Sheeting shall be installed in accordance with Ampelite fixing instructions
and with the Plastics Building Sheets - General Installation Requirements
and Design of Roofing Systems AS/NZS 1562, Part 3.

Colour - Top Sheet to be Opal
Base Sheet to be Natural Clear

Protective foam strips (55mm
x 6mm thick) must be installed underneath the fibreglass sheet, directly on
top of purlin and safety mesh.

Oversize holes up to 15mm
diameter must be drilled at all points of fixing.

Note that the fibreglass
roofing is double-layered with 20mm air gap. The two sheets are to be fixed
to purlins with the same screws, (i.e. do not fix first sheet and then fix
second).
Install base fibreglass layer in conjunction with metal roofing. Top
fibreglass sheet is then laid over first sheet. Install Ampelite spacing
block (self adhesive) over the crest of the ribs on the base sheet. The top
layer of sheeting is then installed, being supported by the spacing block.
Seal the side lap perimeter with nominal 25mm x 5mm thick sealing foam
strip. Air gap is to remain open at gutter and under ridge capping to allow
for release of moisture in between sheets.
COOL-LITE GC
"The Translucent Sheeting shall be
Ampelite "Cool-lite GC" gel coated Fibreglass Reinforced Polyester as
manufactured by Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd. to comply with AS4256.3 2006.
Licence No. 986. The weight of the sheet shall be *2400 g/m² and be
manufactured to conform to the nominated profile and colour. Sheeting shall be
installed in accordance with Ampelite fixing instructions and with AS/NZS 1562.3
: 1996 Design and installation of sheet roof and wall cladding, Part 3 :
Plastic."

SR76 - SMOKE REDUCED SHEETING
"The Translucent Sheeting shall be Ampelite
"SR76" Fire Retardant Reinforced Polyester Sheeting type *SC
as manufactured by Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd. to comply with AS4256.3 2006,
Licence No. 986. The weight of the sheet shall be **2400 g/m² and be
manufactured to conform to the nominated profile and colour. Sheeting shall be
installed in accordance with Ampelite fixing instructions and with AS/NZS 1562.3
: 1996 Design and installation of sheet roof and wall cladding, Part 3 :
Plastic."
* For gel coated surface, replace SC with the words "Premium Gel Coat".

WEBGLAS GC AND GC+
"The Translucent Sheeting shall be Ampelite
*"Webglas GC" / "Webglas GC+" gel coated woven mat Fibreglass
Reinforced Polyester as manufactured by Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd. to comply
with AS4256.3 2006. Licence No. 986. The weight of the sheet shall be
3660 g/m² and be manufactured to conform to the nominated profile and colour.
Sheeting shall be installed in accordance with Ampelite fixing instructions and
with AS/NZS 1562.3 : 1996 Design and installation of sheet roof and wall
cladding, Part 3 : Plastic."

WONDERGLAS GC

Licence No. 986. The weight of the sheet shall be *2400 g/m² and be
manufactured to conform to the nominated profile and colour. Sheeting shall be
installed in accordance with Ampelite fixing instructions and with AS/NZS 1562.3
: 1996 Design and installation of sheet roof and wall cladding, Part 3 :
Plastic."

Lexan* Thermoclear*
SHEETING, INCORPORATING AMPELITE'S H-BAR SYSTEM
“The translucent
sheeting shall be “Lexan* Thermoclear*” Multi-Wall sheeting as distributed by
Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd.. to comply with AS/NZS/ 4256 parts 1 & 3: 1994. The
sheet shall have a gauge of *10mm and a width of **1050mm. The sheeting shall be
fixed in accordance with Ampelite’s system incorporating Aluminum H-Bars, End
Caps and Gaskets. Both the sheeting and glazing bars will be supplied to conform
with the nominated color. Sheeting shall be installed in accordance with
Ampelite fixing instructions and with AS/NZS 1562.3:1996 Design and installation
of sheet roof and wall cladding Part 3: Plastic.”

Lexan*
Thermoclear* SHEETING, INCORPORATING AMPELITE'S
FLEXIBAR SYSTEM
“The translucent
sheeting shall be “Lexan* Thermoclear*” Multi-Wall sheeting as distributed by
Ampelite Australia Pty. Ltd.. to comply with AS/NZS/ 4256 parts 1 & 3: 1994. The
sheet shall have a gauge of *10mm and a width of **1050mm. The sheeting shall be
fixed in accordance with Ampelite’s system incorporating Aluminum Flexibars, End
Caps and Gaskets. Both the sheeting and glazing bars will be supplied to conform
with the nominated color. Sheeting shall be installed in accordance with
Ampelite fixing instructions and with AS/NZS 1562.3:1996 Design and installation
of sheet roof and wall cladding Part 3: Plastic.”
