EEFAS integrates a reinforced GRP outer sheet and multiwall polycarbonate inner sheet into a purpose-made insulated rooflight panel.

Panel construction
EEFAS is factory assembled to suit the selected insulated roof panel. A Webglas GC outer sheet and LEXAN THERMOCLEAR inner layer are joined with high-density fire-retardant foam spacers. Side and end plates stabilise the panel during transport and installation.
Thermal and acoustic performance
The standard assembly provides a U-value of 1.6 W/m²·K, SHGC of 0.14 and Rw sound reduction value of 31 dB. Confirm performance for any change to the panel components or colour.
Ordering
EEFAS is made to order. Confirm the roof-panel manufacturer, profile, insulation thickness, exact lengths and support layout before manufacture. Check roof-access and fixing requirements for the complete assembly.

Installation and care
- Order from confirmed steelwork and insulated-panel drawings. Nominate exact panel lengths, profile, thickness, colour and the support and fixing arrangement.
- Provide at least 2° roof pitch and use the project-specific wind pressure, purlin spacing and fastener configuration. Check Ampelite’s fixing details together with the adjoining panel manufacturer’s instructions.
- Handle the factory assembly as a complete panel and protect edges, seals and the inner polycarbonate layer from damage.
- Maintain flashing, seals and drainage. Keep the exterior surface clean and arrange safe access for inspection without damaging the panel assembly.
