Ampelite DualRoof® – The Smart Choice for Anti-Condensation
Anti-Condensation Skylight System
In today’s environment of conservation, the reduction of energy consumption, the importance of environmentally friendly, cost effective products is ever increasingly recognised.
The savings and benefits in supplying natural daylight in the workplace and in recreational facilities can be maximised at a fraction of the cost of double glazing with Ampelite’s Dual Roof System. This system provides good, evenly diffused natural light, eliminates condensation, and reduces transmitted heat.
Sports stadiums and multi-purpose halls, where condensation quickly forms on the skylight panels due to internal warm moist air meeting with the cold skylight surface, have embraced the Ampelite Dual Roof Anti Condensation Skylighting System to solve the problem.
DUAL ROOF BENEFITS
- Eliminates condensation.
- Great energy savings.
- Cost Effective.
- Can be combined with Webglas GC or ClearSlide which allows for longer sheet lengths.
- Effective thermal insulation.

Warranty
Ampelite Australia Pty Ltd is committed to providing high-quality, durable roofing and skylighting solutions, proudly manufactured in Australia. The warranty for the Ampelite Dual Roof Anti-Condensation Skylighting System is primarily determined by the specific Ampelite sheeting used for the exterior (top) sheet of the system.
The Dual Roof system typically features ‘Wonderglas GC’ as the exterior sheet, with ‘Webglas GC’ available as an option where enhanced trafficability is required. Please see the respective warranties below:
If ‘Wonderglas GC’ is used as the exterior (top) sheet for the Dual Roof System:
Ampelite Australia Pty Ltd warrants ‘Wonderglas GC’ glass reinforced polyester sheeting:
(A) Over a period of 25 years (pro-rata cover) for the following:
The product will not allow water penetration through the actual sheet.
The product will not de-laminate or allow protrusion of reinforcing fibres through the sheet surface.
(B) Over a period of 10 years (pro-rata cover) for the following:
The product will remain structurally sound and shatter resistant under normal conditions. This includes fracturing of the sheet by hailstones up to 20 mm in diameter accompanied by winds up to 100 km/hr.
The product will not exhibit excessive yellowing leading to a loss of light transmission exceeding 10% of the original light value when installed below a latitude of 26º South of the equator. Installations above this latitude will be covered by individual warranty based on known climatic conditions.
If ‘Webglas GC’ is used as the exterior (top) sheet for the Dual Roof System:
Ampelite Australia Pty Ltd warrants ‘Webglas GC’ glass reinforced composite sheeting:
Over a period of 20 years (pro-rata cover) for the following:
The product will not allow water penetration through the actual sheet.
The product will not de-laminate or allow protrusion of reinforcing fibres through the surface of the sheet.
The product will remain structurally sound and shatter resistant under normal conditions. This includes a loss of tensile strength of up to 25% deterioration.
Important Considerations:
The warranties outlined above are for the specified exterior sheeting components of the Dual Roof System.
All installations must be carried out in accordance with Ampelite’s fixing instructions and relevant Australian Standards (including AS/NZS 1562.3) for the warranty to be valid.
