Engineered with a unique halogen-free, intumescent glass tissue, FS FireCheck creates a protective carbon char barrier in the event of fire, reducing flame spread and smoke development. The result is a skylight that is not only safe, strong, and sustainable, but also offers industry-leading fire resistance for complete peace of mind.
Independent CSIRO comparative testing demonstrated the superior fire performance of FS FireCheck sheets, withstanding direct 40 kW flame exposure for over 31 minutes — significantly exceeding the performance of standard fibreglass and conventional fire-retardant sheeting.
The test was concluded at 31 minutes, though FS FireCheck continued to perform exceptionally and showed the potential to endure substantially longer under the same conditions.
