Cool-Lite GC®
Energy-Saving Translucent Sheeting with Advanced Heat Control
Cool-Lite® GC is Ampelite’s premium heat-reducing fibreglass roofing and cladding sheet, engineered to deliver exceptional diffused light while significantly reducing heat transmission. Manufactured with Wonderglas GC gel coating and reinforced fibreglass, it offers an ideal solution for facilities seeking natural light without the discomfort and energy burden of excess solar heat.
Independently tested by Vipac Engineers & Scientists Ltd, Cool-Lite® GC allows 51% of natural light to pass through, while reflecting or absorbing 76.5% of radiant heat. This performance makes it a practical and cost-effective alternative to conventional lighting in warehouses, schools, sports complexes, retail centres, and factories—especially in high-temperature climates.
Whether you’re designing a new build or upgrading existing fibreglass sheeting, Cool-Lite® GC improves indoor comfort, enhances energy efficiency, and maintains long-term clarity with excellent UV and scratch resistance.
